A suggested use for this calendar is to record garden events like what was planted when, time it took to sprout, timing of blooms, harvest times, garden chores to do & completed. You get the idea. The calendar then becomes a record of your gardening year. If you are really a gardener/statistician, record the killing frost date for your garden's micro climate, etc.
